I am Emmanuelle, from Chartres, France. We arrived in Detroit Michigan in 2005 with my husband and 2 children as expats and stayed. We love our life in the  USA where people are overall very nice, and Michigan in particular where nature is so beautiful.

I make jewelry, mainly in sterling silver, and I took my first jewelry/silver smithing class at our local Art Center 14 years ago and was quickly addicted. To be able to buy more tools and materials, I started to sell my creations to my friends (mostly in the French community).

I love sitting at my workbench! First, I put an audiobook on and then I open my supply drawer. And I ask myself:  “what will I do today?”

I especially love to make earrings and I love to wear them as well! To tell the truth, I feel like you can never have too many pairs of earrings!

I like the idea of being listed among other French artists or crafters. And I hope that the French Creators platform will give me the opportunity to meet wonderful people!

*A bit of detail about the JPL Earrings: they are made of tiny sterling silver rings individually cut and added to form this maille called Jens Pind linkage.
