I am Alexia, a creative mind that has a thousand ideas per months. When I moved to the US, I discovered that I was pretty crafty. That was almost 10 years ago! Since then, I have done so many things, but my current passion are handmade dip dye candles. taper candles more specifically.
You might see other creations from me here and there, I told you…I cannot stop creating!

The story about my dip dye candles is pretty funny. About 2 years ago, I was travelling back from my last trip to Belgium, and I had seen my friends’ home decorated with so many cute details, and … their homes are kind of different from those in America! First they don’t have Costco… So no one has the same furniture…. And they have a great mix of classic pieces with more contemporary touches.
I wanted to bring that touch of color, but also stay classic. One of my friends house in particular had 3 colorful taper candles. I remember it struck me and I kept thinking about how cute those candles were.
Until I was in the airplane and I got myself my favorite French Magazine… Modes & Travaux
Guess what was one of the DIY tutorial in the magazine?
A detailed tutorial about the 3 most famous technique to dip dye candles! I can tell you, by the end of the week, I had collected all the material needed, and 2 weeks later I had my first set of colorful dip dye candles made!
It was 1 year ago, and I am proud to say that I have sold and gifted more than 150 candles so far! It’s such an easy gift to get to your host! I am also doing custom orders based on people colors and that is really fun to make, because I add a lot of love and positive energy in those candles!
